Book Complete Andaman & Nicobar Island Holidays from Pune — Hotels, Ferries, Sightseeing and On-Ground Support Included

Thinking about the Andamans but not sure how the trip actually works from Pune? Here’s the first thing we’d rather you know upfront: there is no direct flight from Pune to Port Blair. Every Pune to Andaman tour package involves one stop — usually Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Chennai — and a total journey of five to nine hours depending on the layover. That sounds like a disadvantage until you see what’s on the other side: water clear enough to watch fish from the jetty, beaches that empty out by 5 pm, and an island trip that costs less than most people’s Goa long weekend once you count what’s included.

Our Pune to Andaman tour packages start from ₹12,900 per person for a 3 Nights / 4 Days trip covering hotels, ferry tickets, private sightseeing, airport transfers and permits. You book your Pune flights separately (or ask us for a flight-inclusive quote), land at Veer Savarkar International Airport, and from that moment everything is already arranged — our team is based in Port Blair, not in a call centre two thousand kilometres from your holiday.

✅ Government Licensed Tour Operator ✅ AATO Member (Andaman Association of Tour Operators) ✅ Based in Port Blair — where your holiday actually happens ✅ Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice ✅ Transparent Pricing — no hidden add-ons at the jetty ✅ 700+ Travellers Planned and Hosted ✅ Custom Itinerary on WhatsApp in 10 Minutes

Tell us your dates and group size on WhatsApp (+91-89009-12121) and you’ll have a day-wise Pune to Andaman package quote before your chai gets cold.

What’s Included in Our Pune to Andaman Packages

Every Andaman tour package from Pune we quote covers the parts of the trip that are genuinely hard to arrange remotely:

✔ Hotel stays in Port Blair, Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) and Neil (Shaheed Dweep), matched to your budget category ✔ Private ferry tickets — Makruzz, Nautika or Green Ocean Seaways, seats confirmed before you fly ✔ Private AC vehicle for all sightseeing and transfers (not seat-in-coach sharing) ✔ Airport pick-up and drop at Veer Savarkar International Airport ✔ Entry permits and tickets for monuments and beaches on the itinerary ✔ Cellular Jail Light and Sound Show tickets ✔ A Port Blair-based support number that answers during your trip, not after it

Flights are not included in the base price — and for Pune travellers that’s actually the better arrangement. Fares from Pune swing widely depending on which connecting city is running offers, so you can grab an airline sale, use your credit-card reward points, or route via Mumbai if that works out cheaper. If you’d rather have one consolidated bill, we also quote a Pune to Andaman package with flights — just say so on WhatsApp and we’ll price both versions side by side.

What Pune Travellers Are Actually Asking

“Is Andaman worth it, or should I just go to Goa?” If your trip is about nightlife and restaurants, Goa wins and we’ll tell you that honestly. If it’s about the water — swimming, snorkelling, actually seeing coral — there is no comparison. Goa’s sea is functional; Andaman’s sea is the holiday.

“How many days do I need from Pune?” Six days minimum, and here’s why: your first and last days are largely travel days because of the connection. A 5N/6D trip gives you four full island days. Anything shorter and you’re flying nine hours each way for two days of beach.

“What will the whole trip cost from Pune?” For a couple: roughly ₹44,000 for a 5N/6D package plus ₹22,000–₹36,000 for two return airfares depending on season and booking window. Budget ₹70,000–₹80,000 all-in for a comfortable couple’s trip. We break this down fully in the cost section below.

“Can I plan it myself instead of taking a package?” You can — but ferry seats sell out before hotel rooms do, and a missed ferry in peak season can strand you a full day. DIY works for flexible solo travellers; for families and honeymoons, the package exists precisely so nothing depends on your luck at a ticket counter.

“Is it better for families or couples?” Both, differently. Couples get Havelock sunsets and private candlelight dinners; families get calm, shallow beaches like Bharatpur where kids can actually swim. The itinerary we build for each looks quite different — which is the point of customization.

“What’s the catch with the really cheap packages I see online?” Usually one of three things: the hotel category is lower than the photos suggest, Neil Island has been quietly dropped, or sightseeing is in shared coaches with fixed timings. We’d rather quote you ₹2,000 more and have you know exactly what you’re getting.

What Is an Andaman Tour Package from Pune?

An Andaman tour package from Pune is a pre-arranged island holiday covering hotels, ferry tickets, private transfers, sightseeing and permits across Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island, priced from ₹12,900 per person, with flights from Pune booked separately or added on request. The trip shape is consistent: you fly out of Pune with one stop, land in Port Blair by afternoon, and the island-hopping happens by ferry from there — think of Port Blair as your entry gate and Havelock as the reason you came.

A Pune to Port Blair package really is two journeys in one: the flight you control, and the island logistics we control. One naming clarification worth making early: you’ll see this same trip listed as a Pune to Andaman Nicobar tour package — the Union Territory’s full name is Andaman & Nicobar Islands — but every tourist itinerary covers the Andaman group only.

The Nicobar Islands are restricted under tribal-protection laws and not open to tourism, and any operator whose “Andaman Nicobar package” implies otherwise is being loose with the truth.

Local Expert Tip: When comparing quotes, ask every operator one question — “which ferry, and is my seat confirmed or on request?” Anyone who answers vaguely is planning to buy your tickets after you’ve paid. Confirmed ferry seats before you fly is the single biggest difference between a smooth trip and a stressful one.

Who Are These Packages For?

Honeymoon Couples

Most Pune honeymooners travel between November and February, right after the Maharashtrian wedding season peaks. We build these trips around Havelock — two nights there, not one — with a beachside or premium property, a private candlelight dinner, and a schedule that doesn’t start at 7 am. The couples who message us afterwards almost always mention the same thing: the trip felt private, not packaged.

Families with Kids

Families from Pune mostly travel during April–May school vacations and the Diwali break. We route them toward calm-water beaches — Bharatpur on Neil, Corbyn’s Cove near Port Blair — and keep ferry legs short. Kids handle the Makruzz fine; it’s an enclosed, aircraft-style cabin, not an open boat.

Local Expert Tip: Travelling with children under five? Ask us for morning ferry slots. The sea is visibly calmer before noon most of the season, and a smooth first ferry ride sets the tone for every boat after it.

Solo Travellers & Working Professionals

A large share of our Pune bookings comes from IT professionals in Hinjawadi and Kharadi squeezing a trip into a long weekend plus two days of leave. For this group we run tighter 4N/5D itineraries and handle every transfer, because when you have exactly four island days, an hour lost at a taxi stand matters.

Senior Citizens

Andaman is gentler on senior travellers than most expect — the sightseeing is low-walking, vehicles are private, and ferries are seated and air-conditioned. We slow the pace, skip the early starts, and add a rest afternoon in Port Blair. Many of our Pune families bring parents along precisely because the trip doesn’t demand stamina.

Groups & Friends

Six friends splitting a private vehicle and group ferry booking brings the per-head cost down noticeably — a 5N/6D group trip works out around ₹14,000 per person on the land package. Groups from Pune typically add scuba and a Baratang day, because splitting costs makes the add-ons cheap.

Why Choose a Package Over Planning It Yourself?

Everything Is Confirmed Before You Board in Pune

Your ferries, hotels and vehicles are booked and reconfirmed before your flight leaves Lohegaon. You’re not refreshing a ferry-booking site from a hotel lobby in Port Blair hoping seats open up.

Hotels Matched to How You’ll Actually Use Them

A honeymoon couple spends evenings at the property; a family uses the room mainly to sleep. We match the hotel spend to the usage — premium where you’ll feel it, sensible where you won’t.

Itineraries That Flex Mid-Trip

Weather shifts island plans. Because we’re in Port Blair, we re-sequence your days on the spot — swap Baratang for North Bay if the road convoy timing goes bad — instead of telling you “the itinerary is fixed.”

Private Sightseeing, Not Seat-in-Coach

Every package uses a private AC vehicle. You leave when you’re ready, stop where you want, and never wait forty minutes for strangers at a viewpoint.

Better Value Than DIY Once You Add It Up

Book the same hotels, private cabs and ferry classes yourself and the total typically lands higher — walk-in and last-minute rates on the islands are unforgiving, and peak-season ferry fares climb as seats fill. Here’s the side-by-side, honestly stated:

Local Assistance While You’re on the Islands

Our office is fifteen minutes from most Port Blair hotels. When a traveller’s bag missed a connection last season, we had toiletries and a plan at their hotel before dinner. That’s what “local operator” means in practice.

And the destination itself does the rest of the persuading: this is the one Indian beach holiday where the water is the headline, not the hotel pool.

Andaman vs Goa vs Lakshadweep — Which Should Pune Travellers Choose?

Goa is Pune’s default beach trip — it’s a drive or a short flight, and there’s nothing wrong with it. But the two holidays are not substitutes. Goa is a coastline with a party attached; Andaman is open ocean with islands in it. If you’ve done Goa three times and the sea itself never impressed you, that’s exactly the itch Andaman scratches. Lakshadweep has water that rivals Andaman’s, but permits are restrictive, hotel inventory is tiny, and connectivity from Pune is genuinely difficult — it’s a beautiful destination that’s hard to actually book. For most Pune travellers weighing the three, Andaman is where stunning water meets practical logistics.

What Our Pune Booking Data Shows

  • The most-booked duration from Pune is 5 Nights / 6 Days — travellers consistently add the extra night once they understand the connection eats their first and last days.
  • Most Pune travellers book 45–60 days before travel; the ones who book inside three weeks pay noticeably more for the same flights and often lose their first-choice hotel.
  • Honeymoon enquiries from Pune cluster between November and February, and December Havelock rooms are the first inventory to sell out every single year.

Places to Visit in Andaman and Nicobar Trip

Islands and Places Covered in Your Package

Port Blair — Your Arrival Chapter

You land at Veer Savarkar International Airport, and if you took the morning flight, the evening belongs to the Cellular Jail Light and Sound Show — the one experience on the islands that travellers consistently call the most moving, not the most beautiful. Port Blair in a Port Blair tour package from Pune is the logistics hub and the history chapter: Corbyn’s Cove for an easy first beach, Samudrika Museum if you’re curious what you’ll be snorkelling over later, and Mount Harriet National Park if a viewpoint hike appeals more than a museum.

Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) — The Reason You Came

Every Havelock Island tour package from Pune should include two nights here, and here’s the argument: with one night, you check in at noon and check out the next morning — Radhanagar Beach at sunset OR Elephant Beach snorkelling, not both. Two nights gives you both, plus an unhurried morning. The ferry across (Makruzz or Nautika) is itself part of the experience.

Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) — The Pace Change

Neil is what people imagine when they say “quiet island” — cycle-able roads, Bharatpur Beach’s knee-deep clear water, Natural Bridge at low tide. After Havelock’s relative buzz, Neil is the exhale. Families with small kids often tell us Neil was secretly their favourite.

Ross Island (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island) — Two Hours of Ruins and Deer

A short boat hop from Port Blair: British-era ruins being slowly eaten by roots, and spotted deer wandering the paths. Officially renamed Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island, though everyone on the jetty still says Ross. Do it as a half-day combined with North Bay.

Baratang — The Mid-Trip Adventure Day

Limestone Caves reached by a mangrove boat ride, with the strange little Mud Volcano as a side stop, and a road journey that starts before dawn because of the convoy timings through the reserve. We slot Baratang mid-trip, never on arrival or departure days — it’s a long day, and you want island legs under you first.

Jolly Buoy Island — The Coral Showcase

Open seasonally, plastic-free, and home to some of the healthiest shallow coral you can see through a glass-bottom boat without diving. It needs a permit arranged in advance — one more thing the package quietly handles.

Don’t try to do everything. The most common mistake we see in self-planned itineraries is six islands in five days — a trip spent on jetties. Three islands done properly beats six done breathlessly.

Each island deserves more than a paragraph — these guides cover timings, how to reach, and what’s honestly skippable on each:

Port Blair | Havelock Island | Neil Island | Baratang Island | Ross Island | North Bay Island | Jolly Buoy Island

Local Recommendations from Our Port Blair Team

The sunset move: Everyone crowds Radhanagar for sunset. Go at 3 pm instead, swim while it’s warm, and take your sunset at Kalapathar Beach — same sky, a tenth of the crowd.

Where we actually eat: Skip the hotel buffet one night for the seafood stalls around Aberdeen Bazaar in Port Blair — grilled fish priced by weight, picked from the day’s catch.

The quieter beach: Corbyn’s Cove gets Port Blair’s crowds. Ask your driver for Wandoor instead — calmer, and the gateway to Jolly Buoy anyway.

Jail show timing: Book the first evening slot of the Cellular Jail show. The second slot ends late, and after a travel day from Pune you’ll feel it.

Beginner snorkelling: Elephant Beach’s shallow reef is the gentlest first-snorkel site — standing depth, visible coral, trained guides. Try it before you commit to a scuba booking.

Sunrise worth the alarm: Chidiya Tapu at dawn — birdlife, mudflats, and almost nobody there. Pair it with the small beach for a quiet morning.

For our vegetarian and Jain travellers from Pune: Port Blair and Havelock both have reliable pure-veg kitchens — Annapurna in Port Blair is the standby — and every hotel we use can do Jain preparations with a day’s notice. Tell us at booking, not at check-in, and it’s a non-issue.

Local Expert Tip: If Baratang is on your list, take the first convoy of the morning. Miss it and you’re queued for the next slot with the whole day’s traffic — the difference between reaching the limestone caves by 10 am and by 1 pm.

Budget Andaman Tour from Pune — from ₹12,900

Clean 2-star hotels, all ferries and private transfers included, Port Blair + Havelock focus. The budget Andaman tour from Pune trims the hotel bill, never the experience list.

Affordable Andaman Packages from Pune — ₹16,000–₹22,000

The sweet spot for most travellers: 3-star properties, better locations, Neil Island added. Most of our Pune families book in this band.

Andaman Honeymoon Package from Pune — ₹22,000–₹35,000

Premium beachside stays on Havelock, candlelight dinner, decorated room, flexible mornings. Priced per person for 5N/6D.

Luxury Andaman Package from Pune — ₹30,000+

Top-tier resorts (think private-balcony, direct beach access), premium ferry class, and an itinerary with deliberate empty space in it. A luxury Andaman package from Pune is less about gold taps and more about never once standing in a queue.

Local Expert Tip: Whatever the tier, book 45–60 days out. On the islands, hotel inventory is finite in a way mainland travellers underestimate — the good properties in each category sell out first, and “same price, worse hotel” is the real cost of late booking.

How Much Does a Pune to Andaman Tour Package Cost?

A Pune to Andaman trip costs from ₹12,900 per person for the land package, and roughly ₹35,000–₹40,000 per person all-in once you add return flights from Pune — that’s the honest number to budget for a 5N/6D trip. A cheap Andaman package from Pune under ₹20,000 is entirely achievable on the land portion; it’s the airfare that moves your total, which is why booking flights early matters more from Pune than from cities with direct connections. Whatever your Pune to Andaman holiday budget, anchor it to the package + airfare split and you won’t be surprised later. (And if you’ve been searching the Pune to Andaman Nicobar package price, it’s the same quote — the itinerary covers the Andaman group, as explained above.)

Popular Andaman Packages from Pune — By Trip Type

Pune to Andaman Honeymoon Tour Package

The Pune to Andaman honeymoon tour package (₹22,000–₹35,000 per person, 5N/6D) is built around one decision most couples get wrong: two nights on Havelock instead of one. That’s what makes room for the private candlelight dinner, the lazy Radhanagar afternoon, and a morning that doesn’t begin with packing. Our couple packages also include room decoration and a photography slot on request — small things that photograph forever.

Local Expert Tip: Marrying in the December wedding season? Book the honeymoon the day the wedding date is fixed. December Havelock rooms and reasonable Pune airfares vanish in that order, and both are gone by late October.

Pune to Andaman Family Tour Package

The Pune to Andaman family tour package (from ₹18,000 per person, kids at reduced rates) leans on calm, shallow water — Bharatpur Beach, North Bay’s glass-bottom boats — and a pace with built-in nap windows. A family of four typically spends ₹56,000 on the 5N/6D land package. Every vehicle is private, so a cranky-toddler stop costs you nothing but ten minutes.

Pune to Andaman Tour Package with Scuba Diving

A Pune to Andaman tour package with scuba diving adds a beginner dive at Havelock (no swimming skill required, instructor-accompanied) for ₹3,500–₹4,500 over the base package. One rule we enforce without exception: no diving within 24 hours of your return flight. We sequence the dive early in the itinerary so the no-fly window never touches your departure.

Pune to Andaman Group Tour Package

The Pune to Andaman group tour package is where the per-person math gets friendly: six people on a 5N/6D trip works out around ₹14,000 per head on land costs, because the private vehicle and guide costs divide six ways instead of two. Office groups from Pune’s IT parks are regulars — tell us your headcount and we’ll show you the exact per-person curve.

Luxury Andaman Package from Pune

Our luxury tier (₹30,000+ per person) removes every compromise rather than adding gold leaf: premium beachfront resorts, royal-class ferry seats, late checkouts negotiated in advance, and a day plan with genuine slack in it. If your normal holiday problem is that the “premium” trip still involved queues, this is the fix.

Pune to Andaman Tour Package by Duration

Because Pune adds a full travel day on each end, duration math matters more here than for metro departures — our honest minimum recommendation from Pune is 5N/6D, one notch longer than we’d suggest for a Chennai or Kolkata traveller.

Pune to Andaman Tour Package 4 Days (3N/4D) — from ₹12,900. Works only if flights land early and depart late; you get Port Blair and a tight Havelock day-trip. Choose it for budget, not comfort.

Pune to Andaman Tour Package 5 Days (4N/5D) — from ₹16,000. The long-weekend special: Port Blair plus a proper Havelock stay. Neil becomes a rushed add-on at this length — we’d rather you drop it than sprint it.

Pune to Andaman Tour Package 6 Days (5N/6D) — from ₹18,000. The recommended minimum from Pune and our most-booked duration: all three main islands, no sprinting, one buffer evening.

Pune to Andaman Tour Package 7 Days (6N/7D) — from ₹24,000. Adds Baratang or a second Havelock night. The trade-off is one more day of leave; the payoff is the trip stops feeling scheduled.

7N/8D and longer — for divers doing certification courses, a Diglipur extension to the Ross & Smith Islands’ twin-beach sandbar, or anyone who wants an unplanned day on Neil. Past seven nights, Andaman rewards slowness more than variety.

Pune to Andaman Packages — With Flights and Without Flights

Both versions exist, and the right one depends on how you buy flights. The Pune to Andaman tour package without flights (our standard quote) suits travellers who hunt airline sales or burn credit-card points — you’ll often beat any operator’s fare. The Pune to Andaman package with flights suits those who want one payment, one bill and zero fare-watching; we quote it against live fares so you see exactly what the flights add. Either way, the Pune to Andaman flight duration is 5–9 hours with one stop, and the same advice applies: take the morning departure, aim to land by early afternoon, and your first evening includes the Cellular Jail show instead of just room service.

Local Expert Tip: Pune–Port Blair fares swing more than almost any comparable route because you’re pricing two legs, not one. Set a fare alert the day you shortlist dates — the same itinerary routinely varies by ₹4,000–₹6,000 per person across a few weeks.

How to Save Money on a Pune to Andaman Trip

  1. Book flights 45–60 days out — from Pune this is the single biggest lever, worth more than every other saving combined.
  2. Compare a Mumbai departure — direct flights exist from Mumbai; for peak dates the expressway drive can pay for itself.
  3. Travel in shoulder season — October–November and February–March give you peak weather at 15–20% below December prices.
  4. Take the 3-star tier and spend the difference on experiences — a scuba dive is more memorable than a hotel category jump.
  5. Travel as a group of 4–6 — private-vehicle economics reward headcount.
  6. Book the land package early even if flights wait — hotel and ferry categories lock at today’s rates; only your airfare stays floating.

An Andaman vacation from Pune priced this way — early flights, shoulder season, right-sized hotels — routinely comes in under what the same travellers spent on their last “cheap” Goa peak-week trip.

Local Expert Tip: Ask us for the day-wise cost breakdown before you optimize anything. Most travellers try to save on hotels, but on a typical Pune trip the airfare is 35–40% of the total — that’s where the fat is.

What’s Included — and What’s Not

Accommodation: Every night’s stay in your chosen category, breakfast included, across Port Blair, Havelock and Neil.

Ferry Tickets: Confirmed seats on Makruzz, Nautika or Green Ocean Seaways for every inter-island leg, booked before you fly.

Private Transfers: Airport pick-up/drop and a dedicated AC vehicle for all sightseeing — never shared coaches.

Sightseeing & Permits: All listed monuments, beaches and boat rides, with entry tickets and permits pre-arranged (including Jolly Buoy’s, where applicable).

Cellular Jail Show: Light and Sound Show tickets, first-slot preference.

Local Support: A Port Blair number that picks up — itinerary changes, weather calls, restaurant directions, all of it.

Taxes: GST included in quoted prices. The number we quote is the number you pay.

Not included: – Flights from Pune (unless you take the flight-inclusive quote) – Lunches and dinners (deliberately — food is half the fun of exploring) – Water sports beyond those listed (scuba, parasailing priced as add-ons) – Personal expenses, tips, shopping – Camera fees at certain monuments – Anything not explicitly listed in your quote

We list the exclusions this bluntly because surprise costs at the jetty are the most common complaint travellers bring us about other operators. You’ll know your full number before you pay a rupee.

Sample 5N/6D Itinerary — Pune to Andaman

Day 1 — Land in Port Blair, evening at the Jail. Your one-stop flight from Pune lands by early afternoon; our driver is at arrivals with your name. Check in, stretch, and by evening you’re seated for the Cellular Jail Light and Sound Show — start the trip with the story of the place.

Day 2 — Ferry to Havelock, Radhanagar by afternoon. Morning Makruzz across, check in, and give your afternoon to Radhanagar Beach. Stay for the light after 5 pm; that’s the beach everyone photographs and few actually wait for.

Day 3 — Elephant Beach morning, Kalapathar evening. Boat to Elephant Beach for snorkelling over standing-depth coral — beginners welcome. Evening at quieter Kalapathar.

Day 4 — Ferry to Neil, Natural Bridge at low tide. The pace drops on purpose. Bharatpur Beach’s shallow lagoon, then Natural Bridge timed to the tide chart, sunset at Laxmanpur.

Day 5 — Return to Port Blair, Ross Island half-day. Morning ferry back, afternoon boat to Ross Island’s ruins and deer, evening free at Aberdeen Bazaar for the seafood stalls.

Day 6 — Fly home with a mental note to come back. Airport drop timed to your connection. Most travellers spend the first flight leg planning the return trip; we get the WhatsApp messages to prove it.

Local Expert Tip: If you add scuba, we place it on Day 2 or 3 — never Day 5. The 24-hour no-fly rule after diving is non-negotiable, and an itinerary that respects it from the start never has to be rescued later.

Best Time to Visit Andaman from Pune

October to May is the season, and December to February is its peak — calm seas, 25–30°C, and the ferry schedules at full strength. The honest monsoon note: June to September brings rain, rough crossings and occasional ferry cancellations. Prices drop sharply and the islands turn intensely green, but water activities become weather-dependent — we’ll sell you a monsoon trip if you want one, with that caveat stated exactly this plainly.

Month

Verdict for Pune Travellers

January

Peak season — book flights 60 days out

February

Superb weather, slightly softer fares

March

Warm, clear water, great diving visibility

April

Hot but excellent — Pune school vacations begin

May

Peak family season; book early for May vacations

June

Monsoon onset — prices fall, ferries weather-dependent

July

Wet; only for flexible, budget-first travellers

August

Similar to July; lush and cheap

September

Rain tapering; late-month gambles often pay off

October

Season opens — shoulder pricing, fine weather

November

Excellent all round; wedding-season bookings surge

December

Peak of peaks — magical, crowded, priciest

When Should You Book?

April–May (school vacations)

45–60 days ahead

The scarcity logic is simple and real: island hotel inventory doesn’t scale the way mainland inventory does. When December’s good rooms are gone, no amount of budget buys them back — the calendar, not the wallet, is the constraint.

Traveller Insights: What First-Timers from Pune Don’t Know

Baggage limits bite on connections. Your Pune booking may involve two airlines; the tighter baggage rule of the two applies. Check both before you pack dive fins.

Mobile networks are patchy. BSNL and Airtel work best; Jio is improving but inconsistent on Havelock and Neil. Download offline maps before you fly, and treat the patchiness as a feature.

Carry cash. ATMs exist in Port Blair and Havelock but queue up and run dry in peak season. Cards work at hotels; beach shacks and auto drivers are cash economies.

The Jarawa convoy rules are law. On the Baratang road, photography of tribal community members is a criminal offence, not a guideline. Your driver will brief you; take it seriously.

Seasickness is manageable. The catamarans are stable, but if you’re prone to it, take the tablet 30 minutes before boarding, sit mid-cabin, and pick morning ferries.

Buy reef-safe sunscreen in Pune before you fly. Selection on the islands is thin and pricey. Regular sunscreen damages the very coral you’re coming to see.

Alcohol is available but limited. Licensed hotel bars and a few government shops — this is not Goa, and the early-closing evenings are part of why the mornings are so good.

Is Andaman Safe for Travellers from Pune?

Yes — Andaman is among the safest leisure destinations in India, with low crime, regulated tourism operators and a visible administration presence. For solo travellers, including women travelling alone, the islands are notably comfortable; the practical risks are sunburn and missed ferries, not people. For kids, the main watch-item is water discipline — swim at lifeguarded stretches and heed the flags. For senior parents, the medical note is honest but reassuring: Port Blair has GB Pant Hospital and private clinics, while Havelock and Neil have primary health centres — travellers with serious ongoing conditions should carry medications and consult their doctor first. The one seasonal caveat: monsoon seas are genuinely rough, and safety on the water is exactly why ferries get cancelled — the system erring on the side of caution is a feature.

Adventure Activities in Andaman

  • Scuba Diving — beginner dives at Havelock need no swimming skill; certification courses available for longer trips.
  • Sea Walking — walk the seabed at North Bay in a helmet that keeps your glasses dry. The most accessible “underwater” experience for non-swimmers.
  • Glass Bottom Boat — coral viewing for grandparents and toddlers alike; best at North Bay and Jolly Buoy.
  • Dolphin Watching — early-morning glass-bottom rides off North Bay occasionally double as dolphin spotting; no operator can promise it, which is exactly why the sightings feel earned.
  • Kayaking — mangrove kayaking at Havelock, including bioluminescence night paddles on new-moon dates.
  • Parasailing & Jet Ski — quick-hit thrills off Corbyn’s Cove and Elephant Beach.
  • Trekking — the forest trail to Elephant Beach is a walkable 40 minutes and doubles as a birding route.
  • Cellular Jail Light & Sound Show — listed here deliberately: it’s not an adrenaline activity, it’s the meaning of the place, and skipping it is skipping the islands’ story.

Every activity we book runs through licensed operators with certified equipment — the licence is the difference between an adventure and a risk.

Why Book Your Pune to Andaman Package with Andaman TravelCare

Searching for a “travel agency in Pune for Andaman” is natural — but think about what you actually need. The Pune agency will take your booking and forward it to an operator in Port Blair anyway. The operator you want is based where the holiday happens, because that’s who controls your ferries, hotels and the phone call when weather moves your plans. We are that operator.

Government Licensed & AATO Member: Registered with the Andaman administration and a member of the Andaman Association of Tour Operators — credentials you can verify, not claim.

Port Blair-Based Team: Our office is on the islands. When your ferry is rescheduled at 7 am, the person fixing it is fifteen minutes away, not three time zones of customer-service queue away.

Transparent Pricing: The quote lists everything included and — just as important — everything excluded. 700+ travellers, and “hidden charges” has never once been the complaint.

Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice: Reviews written by people who actually travelled, which you can read before you pay anything.

The middleman contrast, plainly: a reseller marks up our kind of package and adds a layer between you and the islands. Booking direct with the ground operator removes the markup and the layer at the same time. When you compare us with any other operator — a national OTA, a Pune-based agency, or another island operator — run every option through the same five questions:

What to Compare

Local Port Blair Operator (us)

National OTA / Marketplace

Pune-Based Travel Agency

Who actually runs your trip

We do — our vehicles, our ferry bookings

Outsourced to a local vendor you never chose

Forwarded to an island operator, with markup

Ferry seats

Confirmed before you fly

Often “on request” until travel week

Depends on their island partner

Mid-trip problem solving

Office 15 minutes from your hotel

Call-centre queue

Phone calls to their vendor

Price structure

Direct — no reseller layer

Platform commission built in

Their margin on top of island rates

Accountability

Government licence + AATO, verifiable

Platform terms & conditions

Varies widely

Whoever you book with — including another island operator — ask the ferry question, the “who handles problems at 7 am” question, and for the licence number. Any good operator answers all three without flinching; that’s the comparison that actually matters.

How to Book Your Andaman Package from Pune

Step 1 — Message us your dates, group size and trip type on WhatsApp (+91-89009-12121) or email info@andamantravelcare.com.

Step 2 — Get a day-wise itinerary and quote within a few hours, usually faster — built for your group, not copy-pasted.

Step 3 — Refine it with us. Swap hotels, add scuba, stretch a Havelock night. This costs nothing and is where the trip becomes yours.

Step 4 — Book your Andaman package from Pune with an advance payment; we confirm hotels and ferry seats immediately and send written confirmations for each.

Step 5 — Fly out of Pune with everything pre-arranged. Our driver meets you at Veer Savarkar Airport with a name board, and the holiday begins at arrivals.

Local Expert Tip: For December travel, complete Step 4 by mid-October. Every year we watch late bookers pay peak airfare for their third-choice hotel — the calendar is unforgiving in exactly this window.

What Travellers from Pune Say

Best Time to Visit Andaman and Nicobar Trip From Pune

Andaman and Nicobar Islands can be visited at any time as the weather is always good here. The best time is from November to April, when the weather is cool and comfortable and the sea is calm, allowing you to easily do water sports and other activities.

May to September is the rainy season, which makes the island more green. This time is ideal for those who want to experience peace and natural beauty. If you are looking for adventure or just want to relax, Andaman tour packages from Pune will give a different experience in every season.

The weather conditions in Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands have a tropical climate and are humid throughout the year. There is no winter season, so while planning Andaman and Nicobar tour packages from Pune, it is advisable to visit during the summer season to avoid the rains.

The weather on the island is very pleasant and comfortable from December to April. These months are neither too hot nor too humid, allowing you to spend time comfortably in the sun. Heavy rains occur between July and September, which floods the bodies of water and makes it difficult to enjoy various adventure activities.

Frequently Asked Questions — Pune to Andaman

Pricing & Cost

How much does a Pune to Andaman trip cost?

Land packages start at ₹12,900 per person for 3N/4D and ₹18,000–₹22,000 for the recommended 5N/6D. Add ₹11,000–₹18,000 per person for return flights from Pune, so budget roughly ₹35,000–₹40,000 all-in per person for a comfortable trip.

Is Andaman expensive compared to Goa? The land package is comparable to a decent Goa trip; the airfare is what’s higher from Pune. What you get for the difference is water Goa cannot offer — most travellers rate it better value, not cheaper.

Are there Andaman packages under ₹20,000 from Pune? Yes — the land portion of our budget and affordable tiers sits comfortably under ₹20,000. It’s the airfare that pushes the total higher, which is why early flight booking is the real budget lever.

Do you offer EMI or part-payment? We work on an advance-plus-balance structure, and your credit card’s EMI facility applies to payments. Ask us and we’ll structure the schedule around your card’s terms.

Why do prices rise in December? Fixed island inventory meets national peak demand. Hotels and Pune airfares both climb 15–25%; book 60–90 days ahead and you largely escape it.

Travel Planning

Is there a direct flight from Pune to Andaman? No. All Pune to Port Blair flights involve one stop — commonly Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai or Delhi — with total journeys of 5–9 hours. Morning departures are strongly recommended so you land with usable daylight.

Which airlines fly from Pune to Port Blair? IndiGo, Air India and Vistara-merged routings cover the connections, with the stopover city varying by day and season. We’ll tell you which routing is running sensible fares for your specific dates.

Should I fly from Pune or drive to Mumbai and fly direct? Run both numbers. Mumbai’s direct flights save 2–3 hours in the air, but add the expressway drive and possibly a hotel night. For peak-season dates the Mumbai option often wins; for shoulder season, Pune connections are usually fine.

How many days are enough for Andaman from Pune? Six days (5N/6D) is our honest minimum because your first and last days are travel days. Four island days lets you do Port Blair, Havelock and Neil without sprinting.

Is a passport required for Andaman? No — Andaman is Indian territory, and Indian citizens need no permit for the main tourist islands. Carry standard photo ID. Foreign nationals receive a free entry permit on arrival at Port Blair.

When should I visit Andaman from Pune? October to May, with December–February the weather peak and April–May the family-vacation peak. Avoid June–September unless you’re flexible about ferry cancellations and chasing low prices.

Package & Customization

Are flights included in the package? The base quote excludes flights so you can use sales and reward points; a flight-inclusive quote is available on request and priced against live fares. We’ll show you both numbers side by side.

Can I customize the itinerary? Fully — hotels, islands, durations, activities and pace are all adjustable, and refining the plan before booking costs nothing. Customization is the core of what we do, not an upsell.

What’s the catch with very cheap packages online? Usually a lower hotel category than advertised, Neil Island silently dropped, or shared-coach sightseeing. Compare inclusions line by line, not headline prices — and ask whether ferry seats are confirmed or “on request.”

Do packages cover vegetarian or Jain food needs? Yes — Port Blair and Havelock have dependable pure-veg kitchens, and our hotels handle Jain preparations with advance notice. Tell us at booking and it’s arranged before you land.

Can I visit the Nicobar Islands on a tour package? No. The Nicobar group is restricted under tribal-protection laws and tourist permits are not issued — packages titled “Andaman Nicobar” cover the Andaman group (Port Blair, Havelock, Neil and nearby islands). We’d rather tell you this on the page than let a package name mislead you.

What is included in an Andaman & Nicobar tour package? Hotels with breakfast, confirmed inter-island ferry tickets, private AC transfers and sightseeing, entry permits, and Cellular Jail show tickets. Flights from Pune, lunches/dinners and premium water sports are excluded and quoted separately, so you always see the full picture.

Do Andaman tour packages include ferry tickets? Yes — every inter-island leg on Makruzz, Nautika or Green Ocean Seaways is included, with seats confirmed before you fly out of Pune. Ask any operator you compare us with whether their ferry seats are confirmed or merely “on request.”

Can senior citizens manage this trip? Comfortably, with the right pacing — private vehicles, seated AC ferries and low-walking sightseeing. We slow the schedule and skip the pre-dawn Baratang day for senior groups.

Activities

Is Andaman good for honeymoon? It’s arguably India’s best honeymoon destination — private beaches, two-night Havelock stays, candlelight dinners and a pace built for two. November–February from Pune is the sweet spot.

Is Andaman good for a family trip? Very — calm shallow beaches like Bharatpur, glass-bottom boats, and short ferry legs suit kids well. April–May aligns with Pune school vacations; book those dates 45–60 days out.

Can non-swimmers do scuba or snorkelling? Yes to both. Beginner scuba at Havelock is instructor-held with no swimming requirement, and Elephant Beach snorkelling happens at standing depth. Sea walking at North Bay is the gentlest option of all.

Is there nightlife in Andaman? Very little, by design — licensed hotel bars and early evenings. The islands trade nightlife for sunrise snorkelling; if nightlife is the priority, Goa is genuinely the better pick.

Booking

How do I book an Andaman package from Pune? Message your dates and group size on WhatsApp (+91-89009-12121); you’ll get a day-wise quote, refine it with us, pay an advance, and receive written confirmations for hotels and ferries. The whole process typically takes a day.

How far in advance should I book? 45–60 days for most of the season, 60–90 days for December–January, and by early March for May school vacations. Late booking mostly costs you flight money and hotel choice, not availability of the trip itself.

What if weather disrupts my trip? Our Port Blair team re-sequences your itinerary on the ground — that’s the practical advantage of booking with the local operator. Ferry cancellations are rare in season and we build itineraries with recovery room.

Ready to Plan Your Andaman Island Tour from Pune?

You now know the honest version: one-stop flights, six days minimum, ₹35,000–₹40,000 per person all-in — and water that makes every rupee of it make sense. An Andaman & Nicobar holiday from Pune isn’t complicated once someone local is holding the logistics; the only thing left is your dates.
